I received a message claiming to be from Lloyds Bank, indicating they wished to discuss fraud protection. However, it was a recorded message; as soon as it mentioned our name, a human voice popped up, which I found rather odd. They provided a number to call back, alongside some additional options for overseas callers and text users, and mentioned that lines are supposedly open around the clock. To be honest, I have no intention of returning the call, as it strikes me as quite untrustworthy. I reckon if there was a genuine issue, our actual bank would reach out to us personally.

I received a text claiming that Lloyds Bank needed to get in touch regarding some fraud protection measures. What struck me as odd was that the voice on the recording didn't even mention my name. It all feels rather dodgy, to be honest. The number they provided is apparently meant for international callers, and there’s a separate line for text phones, which is a bit puzzling. They’ve also mentioned that their lines are open around the clock, but to me, it just seems like a ruse. I’m definitely not going to return the call; it just doesn’t feel secure. If there were any genuine concerns, my bank would surely reach out directly rather than resorting to this sort of vague communication.

I received a message claiming to be from Lloyds Bank, allegedly discussing measures to safeguard against fraud. However, it turned out to be an automated recording. When they attempted to address us by name, a human voice suddenly chimed in, and quite honestly, it felt rather odd. The message provided multiple numbers for different purposes-one for international callers, another for text relay users, and yet another that was supposed to be memorable. They mentioned that lines are operational round the clock. We're definitely not considering calling back, as we have serious doubts about its legitimacy; we would expect our bank to contact us directly if there was a genuine concern.
