Just got a letter supposedly from Halifax insurance customer services, with a number to ring. The letter claims there’s a cheque they say I haven’t cashed, but I never got any cheque in the first place. Bit iffy if it’s for real or just a trick, and worried I’ll end up with a massive phone bill if I ring that number. Anyone else seen this?
