We received a missed call from 08007838422, accompanied by a message asking us to return the call to 08456031832, including a reference number. Unfortunately, we didn’t catch the call on our mobile as we were tied up on the landline with a company regarding a payment. This appears to be the legitimate HSBC Anti-Scam helpline, as we had recent concerns about potential fraudulent use of our card. It was reassuring to receive such a prompt call, and I would truly appreciate any further assistance they might offer.

I received a call from what appeared to be a genuine number for HSBC Premier’s fraud prevention team. They are essentially verifying some recent transactions on my HSBC Premier debit card that have raised red flags. When I expressed my reluctance to divulge any information over the phone, they advised me to contact the Premier Card helpline, conveniently located on the reverse of my card. Rest assured, once I was connected with the representatives there, they would transfer me to their dedicated scam detection unit for further assistance.

On a Saturday evening, we received a call from a female voice claiming to represent HSBC. Curiosity led us to ring back using the premier banking number, and to our surprise, we found ourselves chatting with the exact same woman! It turned out to be HSBC's scam detection team, who proceeded to grill us about some credit card transactions dating back over ten weeks-albeit for rather modest sums with reputable businesses. It’s quite perplexing how their systems function, but clearly, something must have raised a red flag!

We received a missed call from the numbers 08007838422 and 08456031832, along with a prompt to return the call as per the message. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to answer the call since it came through on our mobile while we were busy at the office. This line is designated for the company, which ensures we keep up with the payments. I'm convinced this was a clever HSBC scam number. It's evident that someone's trying to misuse their card, and we would appreciate a swift contact regarding this matter.

We received a message on our answering machine from 08456031832 which referenced C1. When we dialled the number, they immediately started asking for our credit card details, so we ended the call right away. We're now under the impression that they might attempt to ring us again soon.

I just received a call from a woman with a Scottish accent, reaching out on my work number. Apparently, she was trying to connect with our father, who isn’t around at the moment. He had asked her to ring him back on 08456 031832 and mention reference C1. However, upon checking the number with 1471, it turned out to be 08000 304909. Something doesn’t quite add up here. It’s a bit suspect, isn’t it? When someone seems so eager to get in touch, you’d think they’d make another call if needed.

However, when we called, they immediately asked for our credit card details, which seemed rather dodgy, so we ended the call right away. If it’s a legitimate matter, we reckon they ought to reach out to us again.
