It appears this is related to the collections department at Smile/Co-op Bank. It seems they're employing a power dialler to reach out to their clientele. Honestly, it wouldn't be too much to ask for a bit of consideration, such as having someone actually on the other end of the line when the call connects. It’s quite frustrating to be left in silence, isn’t it? What a bunch of clueless muppets.

I received a rather alarming call from the Ethical Coop, informing me that they had terminated all our services linked to our debit cards, direct debits, SOS, and online banking. Apparently, the offence that triggered this drastic action was simply depositing funds into our account on the same day as a direct debit, rather than prior to it. Quite baffling, really!

I received a call from this number, claiming to represent the Cooperative Bank, and they mentioned they would try to contact me again. Interestingly, it seems like they're linked to some debt issues, which makes me think they might be associated with the number 0845 6026 289. I've been getting calls from that number too, but there's never anyone on the other end when I answer. A quick search online revealed that this number is associated with selling debt management plans and IVAs. Given the similarity in the numbers, there’s a chance they could be part of the same company, don’t you think?

Absolutely infuriating, to say the least! These callers are incredibly tenacious, pestering me at all hours, whether it's the crack of dawn or well into the night. Earlier today, we received a call from these folks just as we were stepping out. They didn't bother leaving a message. I've dealt with them in the past and to be honest, it really rubs us the wrong way since we've never exceeded the limit on our credit card, which is our only account with them. We're quite annoyed by their incessant ringing. Moving forward, we’ve decided we simply won’t respond anymore, but we do plan to get in touch with their office to hopefully put an end to this relentless nuisance.

I keep receiving calls from this number, but when I pick up, there's just silence. It's quite unsettling, to be honest, and I reckon they ought to face some consequences for this. It turns out the calls are from a place called Smile Bank. We had a rather unpleasant encounter with a rather rude young lady who went as far as to throw around threats of legal action. Honestly, we’ve been shaken up by the whole experience!

Be cautious and refrain from sharing your passwords or any sensitive information until they can genuinely prove who they are. There’s been a rise in scammers employing this tactic, randomly calling up folks and claiming the same thing. Stay vigilant!
