We've been getting these eerie silent calls from this number connected to Aqua cards, as noted by the rather vocal individual above. The thing is, we’ve never had an Aqua card and certainly don't hold any accounts with Lloyds TSB. It's quite baffling, really. We wish they would actually utter a word so we could tell them directly to kindly take a hike and leave us in peace!

We've received quite a few calls from 08456016304 on both our mobile and home phone. Honestly, it’s baffling - we've got no idea why they're calling. I've decided against answering any of them. It's quite irritating that they never leave a message... it's clear they can't be that important, right?

Blimey, I keep getting calls from these muppets as well! Honestly, 8:50 in the evening? Talk about taking the mickey! It’s utterly infuriating and I’m really not chuffed about it.

We received a call from this number, but unfortunately, we weren't able to answer it at the time. They left a voicemail which interestingly mentioned our full name, and it appears to be from the HBOS group, specifically Halifax. They requested that we return their call at 0845 604 2714, with their lines open from 8 in the morning to 9 in the evening from Monday to Thursday, until 8:30 on Friday, and from 8 to 4 on Saturday, then 9 to 2 on Sunday. While we can't disclose the exact nature of their inquiry, we have an inkling as to why they’re trying to get in touch. Hopefully, this information proves useful to others!

Received a call from this number, but it was dead air for quite some time. It seems they’re using some sort of automated dialler, yet they clearly lack the staff to actually respond. Quite frustrating, really.

Does anyone happen to know why this number keeps calling our mobile every day and leaving messages? It's becoming quite bothersome. Has anyone had a similar experience with this?

I recently received a call on my mobile from the number 08456016304 and decided to return the call. Upon ringing back, I was greeted by a recorded message indicating that this was associated with the Lloyds TSB group, which also includes Halifax and Bank of Scotland. It mentioned that they would reach out again at a later time.

Beware of these individuals; they’re nothing but fraudsters. It’s best to steer clear and not share any personal information with them. If you happen to fall victim to their tricks, make sure to notify your bank or the police without delay. Stay cautious!

I've received a couple of calls from this number today. When I pick up the phone, there's just silence on the other end. Quite odd, really!

I received a concerning phone call from this number on my mobile. A woman with an unfamiliar accent claimed to be calling from Halifax about my personal account. Now, while I previously held an account with them, I closed it around a year ago. However, my husband and I do maintain a joint account, albeit it’s seldom used. The caller requested my name, date of birth, and my old address, which I found rather strange. I provided those details, and when she pressed for my current address, I mentioned just the postcode. It struck me as odd, especially since Halifax has been sending our mail to our new address without issue. When I inquired why she needed this information, the call abruptly cut off. Feeling quite uneasy about it, I decided to ring Halifax directly from my landline to verify the call. To my bewilderment, as I was about to speak to someone, another person claiming to be from "Halifax" was already on the line, asking for my security details. I firmly told him I would hang up and contact Halifax directly instead. Upon doing so, the official representatives assured me that this number had no connection to them or the Lloyds Banking Group. I would advise anyone receiving a call from this number to exercise extreme caution. Thankfully, I only provided security information that is relatively easy to obtain, nothing like account numbers or PINs. Just remain vigilant; do not disclose any further details. If you find yourself in a similar situation, hang up and reach out to the proper Halifax or Lloyds channels if you're apprehensive.

Just a quick reminder: you really don’t need to share your personal information. The moment you hand over your details, that’s when they’ve got you exactly where they want you. If they start asking for your private info over the phone, let them know politely that you don’t share that sort of thing and suggest they reach out to you via post instead. When they probe for your name or address, it’s perfectly fine to keep that under wraps. Stay savvy!

We received a call on our mobile and then on our home phone shortly after, but they didn’t leave a message on either. When we tried returning the call by using 141, a recorded voice identified themselves as Lloyds TSB, so we hung up.

It’s clearly a scam, almost a right swindle. They called us as well, and the moment we asked them to confirm one of our transactions, they hung up. What a load of nonsense! Seriously, don’t even think about divulging any personal details if someone from a bank gives you a bell. Best to be cautious!

We received a missed call from 08456016304 on our mobile, but there was no voicemail left. We're really hoping it isn’t our bank trying to reach us regarding any issues. I've diligently kept on top of all the payments regarding our arrears, and we're absolutely baffled as to why they’d be trying to get in touch. We might need to ring them back and inquire if there's a problem with our account. Fingers crossed it doesn’t come to that, really!

It simply demonstrates the complete lack of sense exhibited by these companies. It's as if they've regressed to their teenage years, making calls just to hang up without uttering a word, all while their mates in the call centre have a right chuckle about it. It’s utterly ridiculous for supposed adults to engage in such childish antics. Honestly, they probably could benefit from a thorough assessment, as it seems quite clear that their judgement is rather askew.

The number 0845 601 6304 belongs to Blair Oliver & Scott, who are representatives for HBOS, dealing with individuals who owe them money. Should you fail to keep up with any loans or credit cards from Halifax, your outstanding balance gets sent their way for management. They’re quite elusive, operating out of Scotland and Manchester. It can be frustrating as they hound you with daily phone calls regarding repayments, even if you’ve sorted out payment arrangements!

These folks keep ringing me, saying they're from Halifax, asking about some woman I've never come across. They even insisted they thought I was her and demanded my bank info. I've only had this phone number for around six weeks, and after a few calls, I reported them to fraud authorities and my local cops told me to get it checked into an investigation. Last evening, I received a rather suspicious call from the number 08456016304. The chap on the other end claimed to be representing Halifax regarding some sort of business issue. Oddly enough, he insisted that I had to respond to his so-called "security questions," which included my address and other personal details, before he would divulge any specifics about the matter. I found the whole thing rather dodgy and chose not to engage further, so I simply declined to provide any answers.

I’ve gone ahead and blocked their number. They were saying I was behind on payments with Halifax for my mortgage or loan, which made no sense since everything was up to date. I fed them fake passwords and details, but they acted like everything was legit. Eventually, I told them straight up I wasn’t owing a thing and that they sounded like scammers. They tried to say it was some sort of system error. Yeah, right.

I got a call from Blair Oliver and Scott, they deal with debt collecting and bankruptcy stuff. Their freephone is 0800 1303 007 and they're located at Dundas House, Viking Way, Rosyth, Fife, Scotland, KY11 2UU. I suggest giving them a ring on their free number yourself - I did, and it really seemed to annoy them.

I picked up the phone and the caller claimed to be from Lloyds TSB. I've had similar calls previously, so I decided to call the bank myself. The smartest move with annoying scam calls is to add the number in your contacts and label it something like 'Spam Call - Ignore'. That way, when it buzzes, you’ll know not to bother answering.

Hey, just so you know, this is linked to Lloyds Bank. Their call centre is actually based in the Philippines. They use automatic diallers, which is probably why there’s dead silence when you pick up. And if you do manage to talk to someone, their accent makes it quite tricky to follow what they’re saying.

This number keeps ringing my mobile all day from morning till evening, like between 8 in the morning and 8 at night. I don’t pick up because I’m usually busy at work, and it’s really annoying.
