I've been encountering issues with payments getting rejected on PayPal. Shortly after, this number started ringing my parents' home, presumably regarding some questionable transactions. It’s a bit odd considering they were calling an ancient number! Despite that, the callers seemed sincere and were genuinely trying to assist the customer.

I must say, I’ve encountered my fair share of odd phone calls, but this one really takes the biscuit! Just the other evening, we received a call that seemed to be linked to some sort of scam operation - the chap claimed to represent the department for fraud and wanted to double-check some details with me regarding online transactions. He offered to process our information there and then, or we could opt to call back later. We opted for the latter, only to find when we rang back this afternoon that there was absolutely no trace of any such call from Abbey. It’s quite worrying, and I’d advise everyone to stay vigilant!
