I read somewhere else that this might be a scam call. Someone said it was debt collectors, another person reckoned it was from the water board. Either way, I don’t bother answering unless I recognise the number. I double checked just in case it was the job centre or a work-related call. Been getting calls on and off for over a year now from people asking for a Shelly, who I’m not. I’ve told them plenty of times I'm not Shelly, even ended up swearing at one caller. They just keep ringing from different numbers every so often.

Got a call from 000000000 with an automated message about an SMS service. It asked me to press 1 for more info but I didn’t press anything, then it just ended saying no response detected. When I checked my answerphone, there was a message for a woman who I guess had this number like 17 months ago about some unpaid account with JMW or whoever that is. Quite weird!

This number has been ringing me nonstop throughout the whole day. I popped out for a while and when I got back, there were 11 missed calls from them! It's gotten so bad I've had to mute my phone because their calls, often at really odd times, are waking up my little kids - one’s 5 years old and the other just 17 months. Their sleep is really important, and I need my rest too. It’s not just annoying anymore, it’s starting to feel like I’m being followed or something by this number. They ring pretty much whenever from 5:55 in the morning to nearly 1am! Honestly, it’s so frustrating.

I swear I could tell the time from when these muppets ring me. This phone number has popped up at crazy times like 6:45am and even as late as 10:45pm! Isn’t there supposed to be some law about calling outside decent hours? It’s so frustrating and totally disrespectful to my peace, like, leave me the heck alone already! Sorry for the rant but I’m sure anyone else would be just as mad. It’s comforting to know I’m not the only one fed up with this nonsense.

Got a text from 03457171100 saying there's an issue with the water supply in the area and they're working on it, will keep us posted. Pretty sure it's a scam tho, cos Northumbrian Water never got in touch with me about anything like that.

I’ve been getting these weird calls the past couple days - some recorded voice tells me there’s a text message and to press one, but then it just cuts off straight away. Bit annoying!

Got a voicemail intended for a Candy Leonard, rang me directly before asking for her too. I’ve cleared the message now, but I’m sure they’ll be ringing back since they have my number saved.

What an absolute nuisance! These are clearly nothing but fraudsters. I’ve been plagued by these annoying automated calls that spring to life the moment you answer and say a word. They always insist they're debt collectors searching for someone I’ve never even heard of-last time it was "Mr Paul Roberts." I’ve since discovered I’m not alone in receiving these calls with that same phoney debtor's name getting handed out. They then pressure you to press 1, which I can only assume leads to some pricey line - what a cheek! Each time I manage to block one of these irritating callers, another pops up with a different number, and so the cycle continues. I don’t have any debts, which makes it evident that it’s all a scam! To make matters worse, I'm registered with the Telephone Preference Service and my number isn’t listed publicly, so it’s clear they’re just randomly dialing. What a farce!

This number isn’t the only one, I keep getting calls from a load of different numbers playing that same robotic message. They all say they’re from one of a bunch of debt collection firms. Problem is, I don’t owe anything to anyone, so there’s no chance debt collectors should be ringing me up. The automated voice always asks for some stranger I don’t know. Feels like a scam, probably trying to trick you into pressing a button to get through - bet it ends up being some expensive premium number.

I have no clue who this number belongs to. They keep ringing me, but I just don’t pick up anymore. Instead, I let the answerphone pick it up first so I can figure out who it is. Seems like the only way to dodge these pesky calls these days. Properly irritating!

I keep getting calls from this number - I think it’s either Hamiltons or Lowell Debt Collectors. I've told them loads of times to stop calling me because it’s getting a bit much, but they just won’t take me off their list. They use one of those text reply things where you have to press 1 to listen to the message. Honestly, it’s getting proper annoying now.
