6 hoursGot four calls from this number but no message left, feels dodgy like a scam to me.6 hoursGot a call supposedly from Wiltshire Police, but my call blocker stopped it straight away. Sounds like one of those crypto scams to me. I've had quite a few calls like this before, all pretending to be from various police departments. Definitely not falling for it.Wiltshire Police6 hoursGot a call from someone claiming to be Wiltshire police, talking about an ID fraud case. They kept going on about crypto accounts being linked to the crime. The moment I mentioned I don’t own any, the person just ended the call without any explanation. They gave some details to sound legit: Name: Alex Chamber 715844 Wiltshire police Email: [email protected] CRN: 7673vc1aWiltshireAlex Chamber12 hoursI got a call from some scammers claiming to be police, saying my personal info, even my passport stuff, was exposed. They clearly wanted me to hand over access to a ledger or some kind of hardware wallet, or maybe login details for a popular crypto account, all to pinch my cryptocurrencies. The weird thing was, there seemed to be at least three different people tied to that number. I kept them talking for about half an hour, then they started to get nervous and finally backed off.Submit Your Own Report (01722 435299)
