This seems to scream scammer to me, so I’d steer clear of them if I were you.

I keep receiving phone calls from this number every couple of months. The caller claims they're from Egg credit card services, trying to reach someone who hasn’t resided at my address for several years. We reached out to Egg to ask them to stop these persistent calls, but they informed us that they wouldn’t, as we aren’t the account holder! It’s baffling how that reasoning seems to fly right over their heads.
