Like many others, I’ve been inundated with incessant missed calls from this number. They always seem to ring when I’m tied up with something else, and it happens multiple times a day. Honestly, I have no clue who it might be. One would think that if it were something urgent, they’d drop a message, wouldn’t you agree? It’s rather suspect, especially if it’s a scam where I might be hit with a charge just for picking up. If that’s the case, isn’t it rather dodgy? I’m determined to dig deeper and find out who supplies their service, as I bet they’ve got a nice little commission deal going for each response. I've been getting calls from this number incessantly, sometimes even twice a day. Today, I finally picked up and the bloke on the line claimed to be from Economy Energy wanting to discuss my meter. I told him I wasn’t interested in dealing with their company. He seemed baffled and kept asking what I meant. When I requested that he remove my number from their list, he claimed he didn't have it. Quite amusing considering he was on the phone to me! He sounded quite irate, so I just hung up and blocked the number. However, I've just spotted a £2.20 charge on my bill. The woman on the phone was seriously rude! They called me 6 times in 3 days, I was too busy so got my other half to pick up. As soon as he said we weren't interested and nicely told them not to call again, she just said "I'll call her back later" while chuckling. When I finally picked up and asked the caller to cease their harassment, I was met with a torrent of verbal abuse. They had the audacity to insult me, calling me a ‘pest’ and declared they would continue to pester me daily. I've since signed up for the Telephone Preference Service and registered my number in hopes that once the 23rd rolls around, these annoying calls will finally come to an end.
