Beware of this number: 08458770023. The individuals behind it can be quite ruthless and disrespectful in their approach. If you find yourself on the receiving end of their calls, simply mention that you're filing a complaint with Ofcom. Should they resort to intimidation, make sure to report them, as it’s illegal for such businesses to harass and threaten their customers. They could potentially face closure for their actions!

If you manage to sidestep the endless letters and calls, and allow them to think you've moved on from that address, you should be in a decent position. Just give it about three years, and you’ll likely be in the clear, as these organisations typically write things off after six years. It’s a bit of a shifty move, we acknowledge, but it’s either that or settle the debt. They’re using some unusual digits too, like 08453006908458770023.

What a shambles these folks are! They never leave messages on voicemails, and when you finally do pick up, they insist on knowing who you are while refusing to divulge any details about themselves or their business. It's ridiculous! We had a historical debt, which we've since cleared, but that doesn’t give them the right to hound people like this. We even asked for written confirmation of our payment, and what do they say? When I decided to ring them up, the bloke I spoke to was shockingly rude and aggressive. I also overheard another call with two ladies who were equally abrasive and downright ghastly in their manner. Honestly, I think these individuals shouldn’t be allowed to operate in this field. They’re linked to the Bew group, which includes Carphone Warehouse and TalkTalk - all of them seem to be cut from the same cloth, honestly. I would strongly advise steering clear of any interactions with them. If you find yourself in a similar predicament, don’t hesitate to reach out to the Telecommunications Ombudsman; they sorted out our issue regarding the incorrect charges we were hit with.

That way, you can keep an eye on who’s trying to get in touch and block them if they become bothersome. In time, if they do get a bit too persistent, you might want to consider looking into the call barring feature.

I’ve got a strong feeling it’s BCW Buchanan Clark and Wells, as they’ve been persistently calling in a similar fashion. The issue is we can’t really identify for sure who it is until they actually state their purpose. It’s utterly preposterous; if there’s a legitimate reason for the call, they ought to leave a message! This feels like some sort of fishing expedition and honestly, it’s getting rather tedious.
