I received a similar message as well; it was supposedly from someone named "Jack Taylor." While the number seems to be a genuine RBS contact, there’s no employee by that name in the company. I would advise against clicking on the attachment. Stay safe!

I recently came across an email that claimed to be from a chap named Jake Adams at RBS. It mentioned, “Attached is an invoice that our records indicate remains unpaid. I would appreciate it if you could investigate this issue and let me know when we might expect payment.” Cheers, Jake Adams, Credit Control, Telephone: 0845 300 2952. However, I discovered some viruses lurking in the attached files, specifically a zip titled RBS_invoice_15112013.zip which contains a Trojan horse identified as Generic_r.DEM. Be cautious!
