I found out that this lot is a debt recovery firm, and in our situation, they were chasing after a phantom debt that dates back to 2007, allegedly involving Chrysler through Mercedes. Quite baffling, really!

We returned the vehicle, and now it seems these individuals are demanding payment from us not long after we received more than half of what’s owed, as our rights stipulate following the sale of the car back in 2005.

Absolutely the same experience here. These individuals tend to hang up without a word. While some folks might choose to return their calls, we're certainly not going to entertain that notion.
