We just received a call from someone claiming to be from Buchanan Wells & Clark, supposedly acting on behalf of Lloyds TSB. They were fishing for personal details to verify our identity. We ended up hanging up after letting them know we prefer they get in touch with us in writing, especially since we’ve never had an account with Lloyds TSB nor do we plan to. Quite a cheeky attempt, I must say!

Honestly, if the chatter about these folks on different internet forums is anything to muster, we’d rather take a cheese grater to our own faces than bother to ring them up.
