Whenever I don’t pick up, they simply hang up without leaving any sort of message. Quite the nuisance, if you ask me. They had all my details, including my name and address, which was a tad concerning. They mentioned that I was eligible for a new phone and promised to dispatch it the very next day. However, just moments ago, I received another call from a mobile number. The caller informed me that my credit check had gone through, but they required a £100 deposit? Really? I’m not falling for that!

I've received three calls from this number over the last couple of days, and to be honest, I don’t pick up when it’s an 0845. I’ve heard it’s associated with Orange/EE, which is a right nuisance for someone running a business like myself. It can be rather frustrating dealing with these pointless calls. I've recently made the leap from Orange to O2, mainly due to the incessant barrage of calls from EE - honestly, it was relentless, reaching up to four a day! I’ve kept the same number through the switch, so I wouldn’t be surprised if that is how they’ve managed to get hold of my new O2 details. Fingers crossed the incessant ringing will finally cease once the transfer is complete. I typically avoid picking up because I get these calls while I’m busy with my experiments at work. It’s uncanny how they always seem to ring me right when I’m most occupied!
