Ccs! They keep calling from loads of different numbers if you don’t pick up one! Proper annoying! They ring from 8 in the morning right through till 8 at night just over a stupid £20!

About four months back, I got a call from a number claiming to be ccscollect, saying I owed money to Severn Trent Water Ltd - an account I've never even had! They kept sending reminders too, which I just ignored. Now, I know CCSCollect is a legit debt collector, but their actual phone is 020 8665 4929. My suspicion is that this 0844 number might be some kind of trick. I missed a call from it today, and maybe it’s designed to make you ring back on a costly premium number. They could be pretending to be the real CCSCollect just to pull this off. Just my two pence!
