Earlier today, we were plagued by three unsolicited calls from an international number, and it was utterly baffling that we couldn’t identify the caller despite them showing as an international contact on our screen just moments ago. Additionally, we received a nuisance call from 08448733571. It’s truly ridiculous how many marketing calls one receives in a day - the phone wouldn’t stop ringing! We felt completely powerless, with no means of silencing it. It’s become a tiresome ordeal, to say the least.

I've noticed that the entries for this number are all relatively fresh. Just a moment ago, our landline buzzed with a call from 08435 400357, and I verified it through 1471. Literally, as soon as I hung up, the call came through again. Seems to be some sort of cold call or perhaps an automated message, though I chose not to pick up. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!

I'm absolutely livid with these incessant calls! Like many others have mentioned, I’m receiving no fewer than three or four a day. Honestly, I’ve reached a stage where we’ve just stopped answering the phone altogether because it’s typically yet another one of those dreaded pre-recorded messages. Is there truly nothing that can be done about this nuisance? We’ve signed up with the Telephone Preference Service, and while I will say that the cold callers have significantly decreased, those automated messages are certainly filling the void! I could go on and on about this, especially since I just had to endure another one of those calls. Right, that’s my little tirade done!

It's as if these folks are constantly updating their list with new numbers! Seems like we've been inundated with calls from them lately.

I received a call from 08448733571 earlier today, 17th January 2011, at 4:29 PM. It was an utterly feeble automated message droning on about some debt nonsense. Quite amusing, really, but nonetheless very bothersome!

I found it rather intriguing that these individuals are linked to administration! We've been receiving these pesky calls on our landline non-stop, and just today we’ve started to get them on our mobile as well!

I recently received a call from 0844 873 3571, which falls under the Special Services Range. This number appears to be associated with Cable & Wireless (Energis). A word of caution: calls originating from numbers beginning with 0844 873 are probably not legitimate. The last automated update from Oftel for this particular number range dates back to December 2006. My phone rang on 18th January 2011 at precisely 18:19 GMT. I’ll keep you updated if I uncover more information.

I'm utterly fed up with these relentless nuisance calls! This latest one was a bit different from the usual suspects, but it's still annoying as ever. We seem to get at least three or four of these calls every single day, often at the most inconvenient times. Thankfully, we've recently got caller ID, so we can filter the calls and just let them ring out! I even had a chat with BT about it, but their response was pretty much that because most of these calls are from overseas, there's not a lot they can do to help us. How frustrating! "%*&*$!"

I’ve done a bit of digging and it seems that 08448 733 571 is linked to Churchill Management based in Edinburgh. The Financial Services Authority has already issued a warning concerning these folks, yet their website claims they are ‘registered’. I understand the FSA is now looking more closely into this situation. Quite baffling!

It appears to be Churchill Financial making the rounds. If one can muster the patience to endure the entire message, these folks do mention that by pressing nine, you can request to be removed from their list.

Within the span of just ten seconds, my phone has rung with the number 0844 8733571, which turned out to be an absurd automated call. Then, almost immediately after, another number-01782 747000-called, peddling mobility aids or something along those lines. In exasperation, we simply hung up. It’s all becoming rather ludicrous, to be honest. I’m seriously contemplating whether it’s worth keeping a landline at all!

I received a recorded message urging me not to hang up, claiming that the government could erase our debts. I thought to myself, "What debts are you on about?!" Naturally, I ended the call. But then, when I tried to use 1471 to see who had called, it was as if they were still lurking! I really wish our phone provider would put a stop to all those calls from India - it’s beyond frustrating!

I’m afraid I have some rather sad news; we've recently lost our father. In the last few weeks, I’ve been receiving calls from this number. Just the other day, I got three calls from them, and again earlier today. We thought perhaps it was the funeral director or the police trying to reach us, so I answered them.
