This is now the second time today that I've received a call from this number. I'm also registered with the Telephone Preference Service, and I truly appreciate all the valuable work they put in!

I keep receiving calls from this number, but whenever I try to ring back, I get told that the number isn't in service. How perplexing that is!

I tried to return the call, but there were absolutely no digits available! How lovely!

Received the same sort of automated message again, urging us to press five for further information. As I'm on the Telephone Preference Service list, I've gone ahead and lodged a complaint on their site for what it’s worth.

I received a rather chilly call today featuring a recorded message about financial services. I'm registered with the Telephone Preference Service, so I immediately asked the operator for the name of the company. To my surprise, she just said, "Nah mate," before abruptly hanging up on me! Quite the experience, I must say.

It’s just some nuisance on the other end of the line. Do me a favour and jog on!

Had a missed call but can't seem to return it, alas. It says the number's not available? Any thoughts on this?

I've recently received a call from this number, and I’m on the Telephone Preference Service list. It's the third time this week I've had an inquiry like this. What on earth is happening lately?

I keep receiving messages from these individuals urging me to hit the number five, claiming it won't cost me anything. Strangely, they never bother to reveal their identity or what they're about. Quite baffling, if you ask me!

I tried giving that number a call again, but the automated response just kept telling me it was unavailable. Has anyone managed to actually speak to someone from this number? I'm quite curious about who it might have been!

I've registered with the Telephone Preference Service, so I ought not to be receiving these sorts of calls. I was informed that the call originated from beyond the UK's borders, which seemingly leaves the TPS powerless to intervene. Can anyone confirm whether this information is accurate?

Received an unsolicited pre-recorded message on a number that’s registered with the Telephone Preference Service. Quite frustrating, isn't it?

I've been receiving calls from this number and they're absolutely unwanted. We've signed up with the Phone Preference Service, so it's quite frustrating. I really think this should be shut down.

I received a voice message trying to persuade us to jump on board with a government-supported programme. Honestly, five minutes is all I needed to tell this is a scam. Avoid like the plague!

Absolutely! We’ve had a run-in with one of those as well. They prompt you to hit five for some dodgy government-endorsed debt consolidation scheme, or nine if you'd prefer to be scrubbed from their records. No chance, I say! When I pressed nine, I've come across chatter that certain numbers can enable others to use your phone line for outgoing calls while you’re on an incoming one. It’s rather alarming! And let’s not forget, we’re registered with the Telephone Preference Service as well!

I keep receiving the same automated message left on my voicemail. I've already signed up with the Telephone Preference Service (TPS) to curb such nonsense.

Much like many folks commenting here, we are indeed registered with the Telephone Preference Service. Unfortunately, that seems to do little to keep these pesky callers at bay. We're certainly not keen on pressing any buttons at their behest, regardless of whether it ultimately results in us footing the bill-or worse! We’ve held on until the last possible moment, just to make sure their charges rack up to the fullest. Usually, we don’t hang up right away; we prefer to allow them to squander their call time, even if it feels like a small victory in the grand scheme of things.

I wasn't able to answer the call, but when I tried to return it, the number is apparently out of service! Does anyone happen to know who this number might belong to?

We've had yet another annoying call today - that's two now! I’m registered with the Telephone Preference Service, but it’s clear that it doesn’t make much of a difference!

We recently received a missed call from this number. We generally do not return calls from unknown digits unless there's a clear message attached. At the moment, we’re grappling with some financial strain, and it’s not due to our own mismanagement but rather the unexpected economic downturn that caught us off guard. While I am doing my utmost to make payments, albeit occasionally a bit late, it feels as though these endless calls from non-specific numbers are just adding to our stress!

Received an automated call from this number on the 29th of April, 2009, despite the fact that our number is on the Telephone Preference Service list. Quite frustrating, to say the least!
