For some time now, these individuals have been stealthily draining our Pay As You Go credit. After quite a bit of sleuthing, I traced them back to a company called Zamano at 0845 2259090. I managed to speak with someone there who was fairly accommodating. When we inquired about how they got hold of our number, they directed us to a dodgy outfit known as Cueball at 0870 2316604 and 0870 2316883. It’s a mystery as to when our credit pilfering will finally cease!

Further to what we've mentioned before, it has come to my attention that both The Points Factory/Club and Imob (Int Cell Solutions Ltd) are currently based at 17 Holywell Hill, St Albans AL1 1DT, and are implicated in this dodgy scheme. I strongly advise against engaging with any communications from The Points Factory! These individuals are truly unscrupulous, exploiting vulnerable people and siphoning off their hard-earned cash. We are determined to take this matter up with Trading Standards.

We recently received our phone bill and were quite taken aback to see that the provider asserts they've been sending us text messages during November and December, resulting in charges totalling £10.21. The truth is, we haven't received any of those messages, and it appears as if this company hasn’t bothered to reach out to Point Factory either. Being retired with a tight budget, we simply can't bear this extra expense. We find these messages completely unwelcome. We've already called their number to stop any future communications via text, and we’re eager to recover the amount we've overpaid. Could anyone assist us with this matter?

We didn’t have anything else on hand, as already stated. Since we’re using an O2 Pay & Go phone, we decided to pop over to your website to report the nuisance message. We’re also planning to drop an email to their customer service team, but we wanted to check how much information O2 would provide before doing so. In the meantime, we went ahead and sent a text to report the spam using 7726.

We received a couple of text messages from 68866, and they’ve set us back about £3 each! I’m wondering if this company offers any refunds when you haven’t even intended to utilise their service. It would be smashing if someone could reach out to them and kindly inquire about when we might expect our money back. I’m on a pay-as-you-go plan with O2 at the moment, and I must say, their service has been absolutely splendid!

Following up on our earlier discussions: I've unearthed some more information regarding The Points Factory/Club alongside Imob (Int Cell Solutions Ltd). Both companies seem to be based out of 17 Holywell Hill, St Albans AL11DT and are supposedly linked to this scam. I advise steering clear of any communication related to the POINTS FACTORY! They’re a nefarious bunch, exploiting innocent people and siphoning off their cash. We are determined to take this up with Trading Standards.

My children’s grandmother received a rather suspicious text from this dodgy number, so we decided to ring 02 for some guidance. They recommended that we delete the message and absolutely avoid responding to it. If these texts persist, they suggested sending a blank text to 87122 as a way to opt-out. If the messages continue to plague us, it would be wise to contact Trading Standards on 0800 500 212. They’re the ones who handle such complaints and can look into this number, including 87122. Hope this information proves useful!

We've been on the receiving end of numerous texts and phone calls from this lot. After a chat with the premium rate regulatory authority, we discovered this company faced scrutiny back in November 2008 and was slapped with a hefty fine of £25,000. It turns out they're under investigation once more due to an uptick in complaints. If anyone else has fallen prey to this scam, I highly recommend contacting the watchdog to lodge your complaint and contribute to their inquiry at 0800 500212.

"I received a rather strange text that read: 'FreeMsg: This is to confirm that your mobile number has been removed from our system and all related services. You will receive no further messages from us. Thank you!' I found this rather odd, especially since we noticed that our funds were still being taken from our O2 Pay As You Go account. It left us scratching our heads, prompting us to switch to a new SIM card. Unfortunately, we're now facing issues with the new card as it seems incapable of sending or receiving messages from friends. It feels like there's a disconnect somewhere in this whole telephone situation!"

My kids received a rather dubious text from this questionable number, so we decided to ring up 02 for assistance. They recommended that we simply ignore the message and refrain from responding. If the calls keep coming, we're instructed to text "QUIT" to 87122 to stop all communication. Should the nuisance continue, it's best to reach out to Trading Standards at 0800 500 212, as they handle such complaints and can look into this number, which, if you're curious, is 87122. Hope this proves useful!

Our daughter was bombarded with messages from these dodgy characters! They charged her £3 every time they sent her something-she's only nine, for goodness' sake! I contacted O2, and they revealed that it’s a company called Zamano behind it all. They told me to ring 0871 231 6883. They’re meant to explain how these people got hold of your number and when your subscription started. If they fail to do so, you're entitled to a refund. I'm determined to pursue this all the way!

We received a text from imob.tv claiming some sort of free SMS offer. Initially, we thought it was from O2 because they often send us promotional messages. So, we responded, only to discover it was actually from imob, and now we’re a bit lost on how to opt out of this service.

We encountered a similar situation as described earlier. As we’re using an O2 Pay & Go mobile, we decided to visit their online platform to flag the spam message. Initially, we were going to drop an email to their customer support team, but we quickly realised the extensive details O2 required from us. So, in the end, we opted to forward the nuisance SMS to their designated spam number, 7726.

We've found ourselves in a similar predicament, and it really feels like we're being swindled by some outside party. I've already shot off a "STOP" message to the number in question, but the text messages just keep coming, one after the other! It’s baffling why we can’t seem to shake off these pesky texters, whoever they may be, especially when we're also being charged for it. O2 has suggested we call 0800500212, which we’ll be doing very soon, and I'll be sure to share an update once we hear back. In the meantime, has anyone else stumbled upon a way to get these nuisances to stop messaging us and charging our accounts? 😟
