I just received a text claiming we've got 1,500 points outstanding, but I've never opted into any of these services! The message seemed to follow the same pattern as the usual scams, with a website link for some sort of £3 for a TV subscription, along with instructions to unsubscribe if I wanted to opt out. It’s absolutely ludicrous how spam has made its way to our phones! It's like a constant barrage, and just when you think you've seen it all on your computer, you get it pinging through on your mobile as well. What a farce!

Having just perused the myriad of comments regarding this enigmatic message, I must say we too received one. We're on the verge of throwing in the towel, our minds finally kicking into action. This prompted our search, and what a relief it was to find this discussion! Cheers to everyone for sharing their insights. It’s absolutely outrageous that phone providers, whom I fork out a small fortune to, aren't doing more to tackle this kind of deceit.
