Earlier today, I had a rather peculiar phone call. The caller stated he was from my car insurance provider, Zenith, with whom I had been insured until just yesterday. He wanted to discuss a motor incident I supposedly reported to my insurer about a year back. Apparently, the other party involved has lodged a personal injury claim against me-despite the fact that the only damage was a scuffed bumper and a tiny scratch on their alloys. My insurance company had never mentioned any claims from either side at that time, which has left me suspicious. I'm starting to think this chap might be an opportunist trying to chase down every possible accident claim he can. I'm planning to ring up my insurer in the morning for clarification about this call. A quick search on the number reveals it’s linked to a claims management firm. Quite concerning, really!
