My BT bill shows I was charged 70p for a call from this number that lasted 3 minutes and 10 seconds on the 8th of January.

I've noticed that in the past month there are four calls from this number on my phone bill, and they've racked up to more than three quid. I don't remember dialling them at all. Does anyone know how I can sort this out?

On 25th August 2017, I noticed a £1.35 charge from TalkTalk for a call lasting about 7 minutes and 15 seconds to this number. I honestly don’t remember making this call or who I would have been ringing. If this is some kind of scam, how exactly are these calls being placed? Surely the phone provider should be able to identify the user of this number. I think the police ought to be told so they can look into it properly.
