We’ve finally managed to get through to someone from this company, and they claimed to be the head office for Phones4U. However, we were immediately cautioned that they aren’t actually affiliated with Phones4U at all. The only call we should anticipate is from the chap who sold us the phone. We made it clear that we had handed the details over to the local constabulary (as they’re using a mobile too), and we could tell she was being quite deceitful, so we ended the call. I do pity them if they insist on trying their luck again. But it did leave us pondering whether this might just be a ruse by Vodafone, possibly trying to squeeze £25 out of folks for a number change?

Honestly, it’s likely they'll try to pitch you some extras, maybe insurance or whatnot. Well, they are a business at the end of the day, aren't they? I suppose that's par for the course. Just a heads up, this was Phones4u. If you've recently signed a contract with them, chances are they’ve let you know to expect a call. They claim it’s to check if you’re happy with their service, but honestly, it feels more like a marketing ploy. So, while it’s not exactly fraudulent, do keep an ear out for what they say the next time you enter into a contract!

Just the other morning, we received five calls from this number. After a bit of snooping around on this site, we've come to realise it’s associated with Phones4U. We had dealings with them over the summer when we upgraded our Orange contract-very convenient, as they offered it for free right when Orange was planning to hit us with a hefty £150 charge. Thankfully, my LG Viewty Smart has a handy feature that allows me to filter out calls, letting through only the ones I deem important. Anything else goes straight to voicemail, ensuring that these pesky callers can’t bother me at all!
