This number rang me and the person on the line said my first name, then just cut off - proper rude if you ask me. If you want to sort something out, that’s not how you go about it. You made the call, so don’t expect me to call back. Not impressed one bit. Oh, and for anyone worried about any spelling errors, I’m dyslexic!

Honestly, I’m not really getting what all the fuss is about either. My phone arrived pretty quickly as well. I was almost set on the Xperia 2 but ended up picking the latest iPhone instead, which was a bit of a tough call for me. I received a call from them at precisely 16:35 on Friday, 21st March 2014. It was rather strange as they didn’t utter a word; there was merely a cacophony of noise in the background. My attempts to engage in conversation were completely overlooked.

So, while the company’s legit, some staff definitely weren’t. Lately, they’ve been focusing on improving customer service, which is good. My advice? If you get a call, don’t hand over any details straight away. Tell them you’ll ring back later - scammers usually won’t bother calling back, so it’s a good way to protect yourself.

Honestly, it’s not one of those dodgy scams, it’s from the Shebang network, which you can look up on Google and see it’s a legit company. I actually bought a mobile phone from them myself. That said, I wouldn’t tell anyone to go with them because their customer service is awful. I ended up cancelling within my grace period because the network was really rubbish. When I rang them about the phone’s charging port being faulty - and I mean this was after only three days - they refused to take it back. Instead, they told me to send it off to Acer for a warranty fix. Ridiculous, right?
