My dad got a call from some company called Call Management, and they somehow convinced him to buy a call blocker unit for £125. He ended up giving them his card info and the money was taken straight away. The funny thing is, he already has a call blocker gadget that stops scam calls like these. When the new device arrived, he called them up to ask about returning it, but they just told him to bin it and not bother. I guess legally they've done their bit since they've sent a product, but their whole approach felt almost like bullying. Plus, this thing cost way more than the proper ones you can get elsewhere. Honestly, it’s just awful behaviour.

Back in early February 2017, I got a call on my landline from a company claiming that I’d already signed up and paid some money towards their service to block nuisance calls. They said they’d teamed up with BT and if I paid £125, the service would protect me for life. The problem is, I never got any service at all. Later on the same day, I realised I’d made a mistake by handing over my bank details. I rang my bank straight away, but they couldn’t stop the payment that was taken soon after. I then tried calling the company’s management to cancel it and was told they would sort it out within five days. Unfortunately, I never saw a refund or any sign of it being cancelled. Proper let down.

They run some kind of call handling service. My elderly parent, who suffers from dementia, keeps getting annoying calls from them. I've already reached out to their customer support and now I'm just waiting for them to ring me back so I can file a proper complaint.
