This number is some sort of scammer pretending to be Sky and making people rack up huge phone bills. My grandma rang them about her slow internet and getting a new WiFi setup. Then they started asking for her card details. When I grabbed the phone and asked for a website or anything to check since I was suspicious, they said the deal had to be done on the call. I’m absolutely fuming. DO NOT ANSWER THIS NUMBER. I rented a film from Sky for £5.49. After just 10 minutes, the film stopped playing and vanished from my planner. I spent over an hour on the phone with Sky, they kept putting me on hold while they tried to figure out what was wrong. Eventually, I gave in and asked for a refund of the £5.49. Then, about half an hour later, I get a text from my phone company saying my service has been cut off. When I called them, they said I’d gone over my plan and now had to pay £62 to get reconnected.
