Received a rather dodgy call, purporting to be from Sky. Exercise caution, folks! When I tried to ring them back, it was evident they're not Sky at all. Keep your wits about you!

I'm absolutely fed up with these irritating phone calls - they ring through multiple times each day, almost without fail. Honestly, can't they just take a hint and leave me alone?

I've received countless calls from this number, but luckily we have an answering machine with caller ID. We only pick up if we recognise the number. When something important arises, people generally leave a message, but this caller hasn’t bothered to do so.

I received a rather dodgy call from a company claiming to be 'Tonight', supposedly representing Sky. They inquired whether my Sky gear was functioning correctly and mentioned sending an engineer. But then they quoted a price that seemed far too good to be true - £24 for a whole year's worth of service covering the dish, wires, remote, and more. When I pressed them for details on the fee, they repeated the same amount. At that point, they asked for my Visa or Mastercard information, to which I responded that I didn't possess either. They then probed about how I managed my finances, and I simply stated that I banked. That was my cue to bid them farewell. Just a word of caution - it seems like scammers are out in full force again. The number that called me was 0844 8002954.

I received a request to ring this number again, but I don’t have a clue who they are, so I decided against it.

I received a rather strange automated message when I picked up the phone, which seemed to be from Satellite Equipment Maintenance. They were rather keen on us giving them a ring back. This happened not long after we took out an insurance policy, which we certainly don’t intend to continue with. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!

What can you say, really? When I rang up Sky for some help, they offered a few suggestions, but it seems I really must sort out caller ID, especially since I’m being billed for calls without any chance of getting my funds back-however minuscule those amounts might be. I can’t help but wish for karma to catch up with those con artists; may every pound they pilfer from the unwary come back to haunt them. Right now, they’re dealing with the aftermath of PPI claims - it’s high time they faced stricter rules regarding these sneaky charges! You ought to only pay for the services you choose! I’m absolutely livid!
