Moreover, I seem to be getting between one and five calls daily. Not long ago, these calls predominately came through at the stroke of midnight, but now they’ve shifted to the daytime hours too. We reached out to BT, our phone service provider, yet it didn't lead to any resolution. We had hoped that a "Whois" search for phone numbers might shed some light on the situation, but alas, that proved fruitless as well.

This was a dedicated line from Streamline for Verifone, specifically meant for downloading firmware for a credit card terminal. I've noticed it's now showing up as a charge on my BT bills. It’s odd because it should just be making outgoing calls, not receiving them.

I’ve noticed that this phone number keeps cropping up repeatedly on my detailed bill, yet I haven't the faintest idea who or what company it belongs to. It seems to me that it could be some sort of dodgy call, particularly since I'm being billed even for calls that last a mere 00.04 minutes at a cost of 12p. Honestly, I can't recall ever making a call to this number at all.

I can relate, as I receive anywhere from one to five calls each day. Initially, these calls would come in just after midnight, but now they seem to be calling during the day too. I've reached out to BT, the telecom provider, but unfortunately, they haven't been any help. I suspect these callers might have some sort of directory for phone numbers, but they certainly aren't forthcoming with any assistance. Quite frustrating, really!
