Today, I received a call from someone named Matt regarding a lottery survey. It was an automated voice, so I simply hit 5 to opt out of their list. I'm curious to see if that actually works. The caller was Matt.

Received a call earlier today. The chap on the other end used my first name, which raised an eyebrow. My wife picked up and inquired who was calling, but he wouldn't disclose his identity, insisting it was something personal. I decided against engaging further since he was being so elusive. Then, he claimed I had an unclaimed lottery ticket. Given that I never participate in the lottery, it was clear as day it was a dodgy tactic. We promptly ended the conversation! (Since when do lottery tickets include your name and number, anyway?) Just a heads-up to everyone - stay vigilant and don’t be taken in by such tricks!
