10 yearsI received a call from this number but there was no voicemail left. Quite odd, really.12 yearsI was contacted by these individuals last week. They claimed that I had filed a complaint about receiving annoying telephone calls, which I never did. They then offered to send me a box that would put an end to these intrusive calls. I agreed, without being informed about any charges. Regrettably, they were privy to my bank account information and password. On Friday, I received another call and since I wasn't home, my mother answered the phone. This time, they mentioned deducting £89.99 from my bank account. However, my mum intervened and insisted they obtain my authorization before proceeding. It is clear these people are deceitful individuals; under no circumstances should you provide them with your bank details.13 yearsMy elderly mother was deceived by this company into sharing her debit card information. The individuals involved are highly persuasive scam artists. They convinced her that they could decrease a fictitious bill from £4 to £1.33. Additionally, they promised to safeguard her against unwanted phone calls by adding her name to the TPS register, but instead misled her by claiming it was the CPS register. Subsequently, they sent her a "Call Blocker" through the mail and seized £89.00 from her bank account. Interestingly, you can purchase this call blocker yourself on eBay for just £17.99, along with £4.95 for postage. We have made multiple requests for a full refund, all of which have been disregarded. As a result, we have reported this company to Trading Standards, TPS, and BBC Watchdog.Trading StandardsTPSBBC Watchdog13 yearsIt is crystal clear that the two comments posted five days ago are a product of the scam artists' own fabrication. Despite their ability to deceive older individuals and swindle them out of their money, we kindly urge them not to underestimate our intelligence. We eagerly anticipate their appearance on the popular BBC Watchdog programme, where Holly, Mikaela, and Jason should remember to maintain a cheerful disposition while in front of the cameras.BBC WatchdogHollyMikaelaJason13 yearsI received a phone call from this number and initially, I was confused as to why they were contacting me. However, I soon realized that I had previously paid for a service to prevent unsolicited phone calls and the company managing it had gone into administration. It seems that this new company is using a script that mentions my current payments, which, in fact, are accurate. Therefore, I decided to call the company back and made a one-time payment of £89.99 for my call blocker. I am extremely satisfied with the outcomes and it actually works. I am delighted with the results. Thank you.13 yearsI received a phone call from this particular number. It turned out to be a company that is officially registered with trading standards. Interestingly, they also supplied me with a highly effective call blocking device. Being curious, I decided to look up their number on Google and discovered positive feedback. What I find puzzling is that while I had to pay for the device and the service, I received excellent customer service and the call blocker successfully stops all unwanted calls. So, why are there so many negative reports? In my opinion, it could be individuals who haven't actually purchased the device and have falsely deemed it a scam. This perspective is completely incorrect, as per my observations.Google13 yearsBeware of the group called "We do not call uk" and "Silverliningcps" as they continue to engage in their deceptive activities. They now claim to be able to reduce your monthly bill from £4 to £1.33. However, there is no bill to begin with! Do not provide them with any of your bank information. It's important to be cautious of individuals named Holly, Mikaela, and Jason associated with this group. I am submitting a report about them to the police, Trading Standards, and TPS (Telephone Preference Service).HollyMikaelaJasonTrading StandardsTPSTelephone Preference Service13 yearsThe company goes by the name SILVERLININGCPS and they can be contacted at 0845 459 4699. It's unclear how they manage to obtain people's bank details, but they help themselves to money from their bank accounts and send out a device called the Pro Call Blocker. There are two individuals to be cautious of: Mikaela, who makes the initial cold call to sell the call blocker, which is quite ironic; and the boss, Jason, who does not disclose his surname and is a very impolite person. Both of them deserve to go to hell for their actions.SILVERLININGCPSMikaelaJason13 yearsI just received a call from my mother informing me that she received a call from 08445670505. they informed her that she had been paying £4 per month for their services and requested her bank details. However, she was aware that she hadn't made any payments for call blocking services. What's more concerning is that they knew the last digits of her account number and a password that she commonly uses. Having been scammed in the past, my mother wisely decided not to disclose any of her bank details and instead called me for advice. I searched the phone number on a search engine and found a page confirming that it is indeed a scam. I want to thank everyone who shared their experiences and helped bring attention to this fraudulent activity. My mother was relieved when I informed her about this scam and now knows how to deal with them if they attempt to contact her again.13 yearsHere we go again, encountering a remarkably familiar tale. I found myself being subjected to an aggressive sales pitch, declaring that my bill of £4 could be reduced to a mere £1.33, despite the fact that I wasn't even paying anything to them in the first place. To add to the intensity, they insisted on obtaining my bank card details. Naturally, I decided to question the young lady on the other end of the line. In response, she offered to transfer me to her manager. Skeptical of this claim, I pointed out that her so-called "manager" might very well be her friend sitting right beside her. Faced with my doubt, she promptly ended the call. Clearly, this encounter wasn't what I had expected from a company that purportedly shields us from annoying phone calls.13 yearsThis is a scam! These individuals are attempting to deceive and extract money from you!13 yearsI recently received a call from a company that was trying to obtain my bank account details. I politely declined and ended the call, but they had the audacity to call me back! The individual, who identified himself as "Dean," expressed his disapproval of being hung up on. It's rather ironic that someone working in cold-calling would have such a reaction. The company claimed to be the CPS Call Prevention Service, but in reality, the legitimate companies are CPR or TPS.DeanCPS Call Prevention ServiceCPRTPS13 yearsPlease use caution and avoid confusing the "Call Prevention Service" with the "Call Preference Service." The latter is a free service, so be sure not to mistake one for the other. During the call, they mentioned the cost of a small device to connect to my phone line. I promptly declined as their offer was exactly what I wanted to prevent. If you're interested in obtaining the box they mentioned, you can find it on a popular auction site for a significantly lower price. It's known as a CPS box and is also available at Maplin Electronics for £40. Simply search for "CPS BOX" on Google to find it.Maplin ElectronicsGoogle13 yearsSuspects of fraud and attempted fraud are providing victims with this number, in order to deceive them into believing their false claims. If someone contacts you and asks for your bank card or bank account details, do not disclose them.13 yearsI recently received a call from an individual who provided me with their phone number and instructed me about a call-blocking service. They also mentioned the cost of the service and requested my bank details, to which I declined providing. Curiously, after the call, I dialed 1471 and discovered that the number belonged to a mobile phone.13 yearsThere is a business claiming to offer a telephone call preference service that targets elderly individuals and requests their credit card and banking information. To make matters worse, the operator displayed rude behaviour towards my mother when she declined to provide the requested information.Submit Your Own Report (0844 567 0505)
