I highly doubt this was a legitimate Barclaycard call. The caller keeps asking for a name and promptly hangs up each time, which raises a red flag. According to an email from the local branch, the number isn't genuine at all. It appears they were trying to collect a questionable amount of money. Has anyone else experienced similar issues? When I escalated this to the bank, it became clear that whoever is behind this needs to be held accountable for such shocking service. It’s frankly baffling that anyone would act in such an unprofessional manner. What on earth possesses someone to conduct themselves this way?
