I reached out to Sky and it ended up costing me a whopping £50! What I don't understand is why they don't give us a heads-up when we're dipping into our so-called 'free' call allowance. It feels a bit dodgy, doesn't it?

On Thursday the 21st of March 2019, someone seems to have used my mobile number to call 0844 540 2842. I know 08 numbers usually cost money, and I’m certain I didn’t make these calls myself. Yet, three calls were made that day from my phone. Here are the call times and durations: 1. 13:08 for 34 minutes 49 seconds 2. 13:43 for 1 minute 3. 13:47 for 28 minutes 20 seconds The total bill for these calls came to £39.15. Can anyone tell me who is responsible for the number 08445402842? I’ve tried to find out what company or organisation owns it so I can report this misuse properly. My mobile is 07988872724.
