For the person who said on 30/03/2017 to pick up calls from this number, it seems like you might not be sure what happened to that £232. If so, you should probably contact your bank straight away.

So I got a call from Santander asking for my info, and I gave it to the woman on the phone. Then, about three weeks later, £232 disappeared from my account. I’m guessing it’s been moved into some sort of savings account or something. I’d say it’s best to pick up when they call.

This number’s been ringing me non stop for ages. I had a look here to see what it was. When they called again, I picked up and told the bloke to remove my number from their list. He asked why, so I said who are you lot? When he answered, I just said “Exactly” and asked again. Then he just snapped NO! and hung up. Blocked them straight away, not worth the stress at all.

My lad received one of those dodgy calls while he was eagerly anticipating an important message from his university. You won’t believe it - he listened to the voicemail, and it wiped out the last of his phone credit! Consequently, he couldn’t ring me to let me know his train had been scrapped and he was in dire need of a lift. Thankfully, he managed to borrow someone’s phone to get in touch with home. I'm absolutely furious - he’s just a kid and could have ended up stranded miles away from anywhere since we live quite out in the sticks. It infuriates me to think that these lowlifes should be the ones robbed, as they’re clearly only out to fleece us for our financial details. There should definitely be a way to report these crooks and shut down their numbers - surely there’s someone accountable for the numbers they're using?

I keep receiving calls from this number every few days, and honestly, my advice? Just don’t pick up unless it’s a familiar contact! Numbers that begin with 08..., 03..., or show up as "private" or "unknown" are usually best avoided.
