This so-called life insurance firm seems rather suspect. They've been going on about some recent legal changes and claiming they require my info to be up to date. The barrage of personal inquiries they throw at you is rather disconcerting. I’ve gone ahead and flagged this number with the ICO. Strangely enough, the caller wouldn’t disclose their company’s name. Just a word of caution-keep your personal information close to your chest and steer clear of handing it out to random callers!

If you pick up or hit 9, it just shows they got a live line and that means you’ll probably get even more calls because they share your number around. The best thing is to report them to the ICO, they’ll do something once loads of folks complain. It only takes a few mins to do the online form, so worth it!
