Just had a rather amusing conversation with a rather naïve telesales chap. It was quite the laugh leading him astray from his scripted dialogue! I asked him about a freedom of information request for the data they’re working with, inquired about the source of their information, and probed into their compliance with the data protection regulations. What a splendid way to utilise a few idle minutes, knowing that whilst I was chatting away, they weren't managing to dupe someone more gullible. The initial response? Just a last-ditch effort to line the pockets of some poor soul who's clearly not cut out for a proper job. Quite tickled me, I must say!
