Got a call with a computer voice telling me to press a button to hear a voicemail from some mobile number I couldn’t catch. I didn’t press anything to listen. Then I tried 1471 and it showed the number as 0844 something, definitely not a mobile. Pretty suspicious.

I called my phone company and asked them to block the number. The automated message didn’t say who was actually sending it, and the number they told me to call back was different from the one that showed up on the caller ID.
