I received a rather dubious text claiming, "According to our records, you could be eligible for a £3,850 refund due to mis-sold loan insurance. Simply reply YES to proceed." This message came from the number 07403 623215. I'm baffled as to how they acquired my details! Has anyone else encountered this nonsense?

I received a text on my mobile from this number, but the number they left in the message is different. They mentioned that I should give them a call because their records indicate we're entitled to a refund of £3600 related to an insurance policy tied to a loan we supposedly had. The catch is, we don't have any loan at all! It’s got the hallmarks of a scam, no doubt about it.

We received the exact same message at 11:05! I genuinely began to suspect it was a scam.

Today, I received a text from this company, claiming that I might be eligible for £3,750. They suggested I reply with "YES" or give them a call using the number provided at the end of the message. We believed it was a scam and promptly notified our phone provider. They took note of the entire content of the message we received. For anyone else who comes across something similar, I implore you to pause and consider your actions before proceeding. Our own message arrived on the 13th of December, 2010, at precisely 1:58 PM.

Blimey, inflation seems to be going through the roof! Just the other day, I received a text message touting a loan of £3750. The thing is, we already have a loan, but we’ve never actually taken out any insurance. It’s all beginning to feel a bit dodgy, if you ask me. I wouldn't be surprised if it's just another scam!
