I've just been stung with a £19 charge for a 38-minute call that I never even made! This has got to be some kind of con, and unfortunately, Vodafone isn't budging on reversing the charge. I'm starting to wonder if they're somehow involved in this dodgy business. It really feels like a money laundering operation, so do watch yourselves!

PPI calls kept coming even after I said I wasnt interested. So I gave em a made up list of bad credits. When the forms showed up, I just shredded them and sent them back with a note that said something like “forms signed, feel free to piece them back and send your claims.” Didnt even leave my name on it.

Got a call from a PPI cold caller, sounded like a lad. I told him I was some kinda divine sign and had been waiting for his call. Then I dropped on him that he wasn’t making the most of himself in that job, that it wasn’t what he truly wanted, and he really needed to get up, leave the call centre, and chase what he really wants in life.

I just received a call from this number and, naturally, I turned to Google for any details. That’s how I stumbled upon 'unknownphone.com', where it appears many others are grappling with the same issue. Despite our best efforts to report these nuisance calls, it seems there's little progress in putting a stop to them, as some of the reports date back quite a while. This got me pondering - who funds these platforms where we log the numbers? Sure, there are a few ads scattered about, but can ad revenue really cover all the expenses considering these sites don’t seem to attract a huge amount of traffic? Unless, of course, they’ve got a collection of numbers that prompt a lot of people to jump online to identify the caller, which would then make the advertising worth their while. Just something to mull over.
