Sounds like one of those PPI firms pushing their refund help. Plenty of folks saying you get charged if you ring them back, so watch out. Bit odd for a PPI refund company to do that sort of thing (charging you).

I've just seen a £19 charge for 38 minutes on my bill, even though I never made the call. Feels like a proper scam to me. Tried sorting it with Vodafone but they refused to remove it. I reckon it might be connected to them somehow - like some shady money laundering scheme. Be very cautious out there!!!

PPI calls kept coming even after I said I wasnt interested. So I gave em a made up list of bad credits. When the forms showed up, I just shredded them and sent them back with a note that said something like “forms signed, feel free to piece them back and send your claims.” Didnt even leave my name on it.

Got a call from a PPI cold caller, sounded like a lad. I told him I was some kinda divine sign and had been waiting for his call. Then I dropped on him that he wasn’t making the most of himself in that job, that it wasn’t what he truly wanted, and he really needed to get up, leave the call centre, and chase what he really wants in life.

I just got a call from this number and decided to look it up on Google. That led me to 'unknownphone.com,' where loads of people seem to be dealing with the same issue. Even though many report these calls, nothing really changes - some of the reports date way back months. It got me wondering who actually funds these reporting websites. Sure, there are adverts on them, but I doubt that ad money alone pays for everything, especially since these sites don’t get tons of traffic, unless you’re getting bombarded with calls from various numbers and end up hitting these pages regularly. I guess the ad income only makes sense if lots of people constantly search these numbers. Just something I was thinking about.
