He rambled on about how “...major banks in the UK utilise a certain system...” and other nonsense, but honestly, I couldn't care less. To my astonishment, he then asked if I wished to have my details expunged from their records, so we'll just have to see if they actually follow through. This number 08439800144 has been ringing me non stop, drives me mad! Everytime you press 9 they just swap the last 3 numbers around. I’ve had loads from them like 633, 133, 129, 139, 150, 1110, 118, 147, 1120, 1124, 107 just since 26/07/2015 alone. I’ve been jotting them down since 2014. If I could work out who they actually are, I’d send them a bill for all the hassle - maybe if everyone did that, they’d finally stop.

Every time I press 3 to chat with an adviser, they just cut the line the moment I request them to take my number off their lists. It's quite amusing, though; I've discovered that if you feign interest and keep them engaged for a good half an hour, they can get quite frustrated! However, instead of clarifying, the caller began asking for my personal information, including my current bank details, which seemed completely irrelevant to the topic at hand!
