This number rang my elderly folks, saying their bank was having issues and asked for some info. My dad wasn’t having any of it and told them exactly where to go. We really need to warn older people about these scams.

They keep ringing me even though I always ask them to stop. It’s some marketing firm about PPI mis-selling, which is daft because I’m certain I never had that. Does anyone know how to get them to leave me alone? My neighbour, she’s 95 and a widow, had to cut off her landline just to avoid these annoying calls, even though she relies on it ‘cause she’s disabled. I’m retired myself and would really value any tips.

Honestly, these callers need strict fines for constantly bothering everyone. Luckily, I’ve got a BT call blocker on my phone, so whenever they ring, I just block ’em straight away.

I just installed Kaspersky and blocked that number for good. Every time they call, it just goes straight to the voicemail with that endless ringing tone - so annoying! Haha, they're wasting their own money, not mine. Cheers, John.

Proper pain in the neck. They’ve rung me 4 times over the past few days and never left a message - if it was important, they’d leave one, surely. I found a good hack - I made a contact in my phone named “Muppet Callers” and pop all the numbers that bug me in there. I just let it ring quietly, so they’re the ones wasting cash, not me. Sorted!
