Received a message purporting to be from Barclays, inquiring whether I was attempting to transfer £1,500. When I rang them back to verify the caller's identity, he abruptly ended the call. Quite suspicious, wouldn't you say?

I must warn everyone - this is nothing short of a scam! I received a text claiming I was trying to transfer £1500. Naturally, I contacted Barclays using the number from their official site. They informed me it was a hoax and to disregard the message. However, when I called the number associated with the text, I confronted the individual, stating that I had just spoken to Barclays and knew they weren't legitimate. The moment I said that, the bloke simply hung up on me. Please stay vigilant and protect yourselves!
