Loads of other numbers can be programmed into a phone to mask who’s really sending the texts or making calls - perfect for folks trying to stay anonymous. Usually, they’ll have an app installed that stays out of sight. A popular one is called MyMessage Free, which you can spot in the app manager if you look closely. Some of the sneaky ones even hide behind the name of a harmless-looking app so it doesn’t raise suspicion.
