Got a call from this number today at 16:43 but missed it, so I called back. The recorded message said something like “Money Help” (didn’t catch the full name) and mentioned I might have been contacted about claiming compensation. They said if I missed a flight by over 3 hours in the past 3 years, I could get up to £550 per person. Then it said to press 3 to talk to an advisor. Didn’t bother with it - just added the number to my blocked list. Not interested in that rubbish.

PPI. I’ve reported this number to the ICO. The more folks that report and complain about it, the better chance there is that something will actually be done. Told them a few times already to remove me from their call list, but they never do. Told them again that I’m reporting them now. I've been subjected to incessant nuisance calls from the same bunch of unscrupulous individuals using various numbers that all seem to begin with 0843 724. Honestly, I reckon I've piled on around fifty of these digits into my blocked list, all thanks to their relentless persistence in trying to con unsuspecting folks out of their hard-earned cash with dodgy schemes promising free money. Got a call about PPI like 4 times already. They say something like "Dear customer, you qualify for a refund on your PPI." Then they tell me to press 5 to talk to someone, or else the bank will hold on to your cash or somethin. Total nonsense.
