My elderly father, who is 80, receives incessant calls-three times a day, no less. I've reached out on two occasions to request his number be taken off their list. Honestly, this country’s a bit of a shambles; the authorities seem utterly indifferent to our plight. It wouldn’t take much for them to sort this out, yet they’re not bothered, just like with a dozen other issues we face. They don’t experience the hassle of such calls like we do; they’ve got staff to handle it all and can afford the fancy tech and subscriptions that the average person simply can't. I sometimes think it would be quite entertaining to have their contact details and give them a taste of their own medicine-waking them up at all hours! They really seem out of touch with reality, don’t they?

Honestly, the TPS doesn’t really do much for me. I ended up going for a call blocker that lets you pick and choose who can ring you or block loads of numbers. There’s loads of options out there but I’ve been using the ‘t####’ device. It set me back about £100, but it’s brilliant at keeping all the rubbish calls away. You can program it quite easily and even change settings through an online dashboard, which is super handy. Definitely worth it if you want proper control over your calls.

I've been getting loads of annoying calls lately and I've told the Information Commissioner's Office about it. I'd really suggest others do the same. Next time they ring me, I'm just gonna answer back. Someone else mentioned they're called Money Help Marketing, their number's 0333 002 139. Boiler companies keep ringing non stop. I reckon we should just pick up and tell them to send someone over. I live in a housing association flat, and next time I get one of these calls, I’m gonna tell them to send their bloke round so I can let them have it with some proper cheek before they leg it. I've been inundated with calls regarding this scheme for quite a few months now! Since I had central heating installed back in 2008 through a Scottish Government initiative, a new boiler isn't necessary for me. During that time, my walls were assessed for insulation eligibility (they weren't) and I also paid out of pocket for additional loft insulation. These callers constantly bombard my landline - they even leave messages when I'm unavailable - and they reach me on my mobile as well. Is there any way to put an end to this nuisance?

Got a couple of calls from what sounds like a green deal scam. It kicks off with a recorded voice, but when I waited to speak to someone and asked them the company’s name, they just hung up straight away - twice now. My number is registered with the TPS too. This scam bot rang me up three times today.

I've been receiving incessant calls from this number regarding green energy assessments. They claim, "Our records indicate your home hasn't been evaluated yet, and the Government recommends every property get this done by 2016." Really? I've already pressed "9" multiple times to opt out of their list, yet they continue to ring me. Frustrated, I decided to press "2" to speak to someone directly. When a woman finally answered, she jumped straight into asking when they could come for a visit. I informed her that I wanted my details deleted since I'm not a homeowner. Instead of addressing my request, she simply hung up on me-such a lack of courtesy!

i get calls every single day and tried pressing 9 to opt out but it never does anything.. ive also signed up with the TPS but they keep ringing anyway, so i dont think they even bother looking at the TPS database properly.

They just phoned me, I ended up talking to this quite rude lass with a Geordie accent who asked if I wanted a new boiler. I told her no and to take me off their list and stop calling me, and she was like “oh for goodness sake” before hanging up! They call loads of times every day and always when my baby’s just dropped off to sleep, proper annoying!

This number, just like loads of others, keeps ringing my landline non-stop for ages. It’s gotten so annoying that I have to keep my phone on silent most of the time. It’s unbelievable how these muppets are allowed to keep pestering people like this. I’ve heard there’s some new law on the way to stop these calls, but I really hope they sort it out soon!

I keep receiving these annoying calls about how every household in the UK needs a new boiler, which strikes me as quite deceptive. It’s baffling how I get these every week, but they always seem to be from different numbers that likely aren’t genuine. Honestly, the firm responsible for these relentless calls ought to be shut down for good. Despite being ex-directory and registered with the Telephone Preference Service, it seems to make little difference at all!
