Blimey! It seems I've struck it lucky, or so they claim, with a purported windfall just waiting for me to scoop it up. Naturally, I couldn’t resist giving the number a bell-though I’m sure others have fallen for that trick and ended up out of pocket. As for me, I didn’t get stung! Oh, here we go again! Another call from this number has come through. We've simply stopped picking up, as it feels like we're bombarded with their calls on a daily basis. Today, I received a call from 08437242197 (13/04/2015) with a pre-recorded message claiming I'd been chosen for a £250 prize. They urged me to press '2' for further details. I've been getting similar calls from this number quite often, primarily during the daylight hours. I usually just hang up because I reckon it’s some daft individual or business trying to pull a fast one and fleece me. It really frustrates me that these people can't be bothered to find a proper job that actually pays well, instead of resorting to trickery. Honestly, I can’t help but think they must be rather dim to avoid legitimate work. Here’s hoping they find themselves behind bars before they manage to swindle any more unsuspecting, hard-working folks out of their hard-earned cash.
