Got a ring from this number today, no clue how they got hold of my digits. I only use it for internet stuff and never shared it anywhere. Feels like phone companies are probably trading our details behind the scenes. Wish I had the time or energy to dig into it, but for now I'll just hope somebody is on top of it. Today this number called me 3 different times, but before that I was getting calls from a number that looked pretty similar. When I checked that one, turns out it was from somewhere in Africa! I’m with O2 and I've heard they’re not great about protecting your info, probably selling phone numbers to who knows who. Really irritating!
