I'd encourage others to follow suit as well!

For the past fortnight, we’ve been receiving calls from this number on a nearly daily basis. Fortunately, it’s our secondary line that answers, and the calls go straight to voicemail. It’s become quite obvious that these are sales pitches, as they never leave a message. We’ve decided against returning the calls, and it seems every time they reach our answering machine, it costs them a bit more!

This number keeps calling us incessantly. Every time we answer, we’re prompted to press two for a conversation, which leads to some sort of debt advice service. However, as soon as we request the name of their company, they promptly cut the call. We've previously asked them to remove our details from their database, but it seems that request fell on deaf ears! We've even engaged BT’s privacy options, yet those calls still manage to get through. Quite frustrating, to say the least!

Nevertheless, we’re quite keen for the incessant ringing to cease. It’s high time these callers faced some restrictions. It’s a good idea to check your phone periodically to ensure you haven’t missed any important calls. Share your mobile number with friends and family, so they can reach you directly when they need to-just steer clear of giving it to any businesses or services, as they tend to leave unpleasant messages!

I attempted to reach Mr Rudd on his mobile, yet the call immediately diverted to an Orange voicemail. I've also signed up with the TPS, so this is rather frustrating. How irritating!

We hit the option for an advisor and questioned why on earth we were receiving calls from these folks while being registered with the Telephone Preference Service. The advisor ended up hanging up on us rather abruptly.

This week has seen a flurry of activity on my phone, racking up nine calls from five different 0843 numbers since Monday. I've received a couple from the one mentioned above, and a pair from two others, with only single calls from the remaining three. It's likely the reason for the low volume of repeat calls is that I never engage with any of them. Simply lifting the receiver and putting it back down appears to register that I'm home, prompting the system to attempt ringing again. If these companies weren't engaging in such unsolicited calls, they might actually leave a message to convey their purpose.

Another leech of a business is at it again, capitalising on those down on their luck. All we got from them was the dreadful question, "Are you in debt?" before we slammed the phone down, seething with anger as they interrupted our work outside.
