Hi everyone! We recently received a call from the number 08435406484, claiming that we could claim compensation and that they would assist us with it. We didn’t stick around to hear more and just hung up. This isn’t the first time we’ve been contacted by such numbers. Thankfully, we’ve got Caller ID on our phone, and we've decided to stop answering these ridiculous calls. Fingers crossed they take the hint eventually!

These persistent calls are absolutely infuriating! It seems Virgin Media can’t do a thing about these nuisance numbers. Over the past five weeks, my phone's been ringing off the hook from this one, and each time we answer, there's nobody on the line. After waiting around for half an hour, we’re met with a message saying the caller has disconnected! When we try ringing them back, it’s perpetually busy. There might also be other troublesome numbers linked to this lot: 08433270159, 08433270162, 08433270163, 08433270165, 08433270182, 08432768392, and 08432768439. Enough is enough!

I've just given a shout on the report link at the top in relation to another nuisance call from 08435 406484. But seriously, does anyone know if this info actually goes anywhere productive, or is this site just gathering data? I’m under the impression that us TPS members should be off-limits to these telemarketers, right? And as for Ofcom, what’s the point in reaching out? They just say it’s a private squabble between you and your phone provider. Has anyone ever witnessed Ofcom actually doing anything meaningful for us phone users in this country?

I've just received a call from these jokers. There was hardly a peep from their side, likely because we’re all so quick to answer the phone and catch them off guard - or we manage to hang up before they get a word out. Being registered with the Telephone Preference Service means that whenever these nuisances come ringing, we unleash a fair bit of spectacularly vivid language in response!

I've just received another one of those pesky calls from this number regarding clearing debts in a year! They called my fax line, and we seem to get at least two identical calls like this every day. We're not hitting nine to be removed from their list; I reckon someone must have pressed it once because that’s when the frequency of these calls shot up! It’s rather peculiar-pressing nine might get you off their call list, but it seems to just funnel you into a multitude of other systems instead!

I keep receiving calls from these characters who leave automated messages about clearing our debts. The funny thing is, we have no debts whatsoever! Even if we did, I certainly wouldn’t entertain the idea of using their dodgy services. Honestly, they’re nothing but vultures!

It's curious how we all seem to share a similar link, isn't it? Many of us find ourselves crossed paths with that webuyanycar.com outfit at some point. It raises a few eyebrows, especially since they are the sole folks to whom we've given our phone numbers. This has led me to wonder if they might be passing on our details to other businesses. Perhaps it’s just a coincidence that we all happen to use the same internet provider?

I keep receiving calls from these individuals, nearly five times a day, claiming they can help us "secure compensation" for some sort of personal injury. The thing is, our claim was resolved five years ago! When we rang back to lodge a complaint, we were instructed to press five to connect with one of their agents. We did just that, only to be met with an incessant ringing tone. Could this possibly be a scam?

I've been receiving calls from these folks three or four times a week! What really worries me is that they insist you have to "press 9" to get your name removed from their list. It feels a bit dodgy, and I'm anxious that following their instructions might end up costing us a pretty penny.

I've been getting calls from 08435 406484 incessantly, ringing twice daily for a whole year now! I even signed up for the Telephone Preference Service (TPS) to block those pesky telemarketers, yet this number just won't take the hint. It would be brilliant if everyone could band together and get rid of these nuisances once and for all!

I've received a couple of calls from these characters recently. It seems that if you interrupt their automated message the first time, they tend to ring back within a matter of minutes. It’s quite frustrating, especially since this is a business line and I'm currently waiting on some important calls.
