Got a phone call claiming to be from PayPal about some dodgy activity on my account. The recorded message was poorly spoken English and sounded off, but since the number started with 08, it seemed a bit convincing at first. Still, it’s obviously a phishing scam and best to just hang up. If PayPal really had an issue, they’d contact you personally, know who they’re talking to, and wouldn’t rely on some bad, scripted voicemail. Definitely don’t trust it.
