I've been getting calls from this number daily for weeks now, and they never seem to leave a proper message, even when my voicemail picks up. It's quite frustrating, to say the least!

they said they were from rcn and were trying to push one of their journals on me, sounded okay but then they asked for my bank details right over the phone. i told them i didn’t have the info handy and they started telling me to log into my online banking there and then, felt off so i just ended the call. they’ve kept ringing me back a few times after that.

Hmm, this seems genuine but the whole method doesn’t feel very safe. How simple is it for someone to figure out your account details and SIN, plus that you work as a nurse? This kind of approach just seems like an open invite for scammers to take advantage.

This number called my landline, saying they were a sales team working for the RCN, trying to get me to buy one of their journals. I told the person I’m only with the RCN for personal indemnity and that I think they’re a terrible union, so I’m not giving them any more cash. I reckon the caller regretted ringing me! Proper fed up with the RCN for using my info like this.

this number belonged to a sales team working for rcn, trying to push one of their magazines on me. i told the bloke i only joined rcn for personal indemnity and that union's rubbish, not paying any more money to them. reckon he didnt wanna have called after all! pretty annoyed with rcn for using my info like that too.

earlier that day i phoned rcn on my own and then this number gave me a ring back. ive only ever got sales calls from 08 numbers before so i just didnt pick up. now im not sure if it was really them calling me back or not. defo something to do with rcn though.

this number rang me up and said they were from the royal college of nursing, offering journals at a special price of £1 for a 2 month period. they asked for my sort code and account number to verify with my current standing order. i felt uneasy about it, so i called the rediect myself. they confirmed that such offers are genuine and it's normal to ask for that info.
